Meet the Artisan ―

Kia ora, I’m Clare the Crumpetier.

Crumpets are one of my family’s favourite “breakfast” foods, especially in the colder months. As a child I have fond memories of baking these holiest little pockets of lightness and topping them lashings of butter and a drizzle of golden syrup.

As a chef by trade, creating great food has always been my passion. Whilst NZ was in lockdown 2020,  I had a lot more time on my hands so started experimenting with sourdough & creating delicious crumpets for family and friends, perfecting the lightest, fluffiest & holiest crumpets that are not only delicious but good for your gut.

So along came Little Spoon Sourdough Crumpets, with a simple mission – to provide the best crumpets possible.
